AUSTERlITZ BRIDGE

We had the chance to create various graphic elements visible all along the Seine during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games ceremony.
These included the Pont d’Austerlitz, a magnificent illustration of our artistic and cultural commitment.
Conceived as a bas-relief sculpture, this painting was first modeled in 3D, then finely retouched to obtain a handcrafted, patinated rendering, adding a touch of elegance and tradition to the creation.
It represents a fresco in which all the sports of the Olympic Games are depicted in action, capturing the spirit of the Olympic credo, “Citius, Altius, Fortius, Communiter”.

LIFE IN PINK

Studio BK designed iconic visual elements for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, including flags inspired by the painting “La Vie en Rose”. Studio BK designed the “Paris” sign and the “Enchanté” tarpaulin for Lady Gaga’s performance of Zizi Jeanmaire’s “Mon truc en plumes”, surrounded by dancers at the foot of a golden staircase.
These creations enhanced the magical Parisian ambience of the event.

FREEDOM

For the “Liberté” sequence evoking the French Revolution, Studio BK designed the boat on which singer Marina Viotti gave a powerful performance at the Conciergerie, Marie-Antoinette’s former prison.
We painted the float to include this boat, a symbol of Paris, accompanied by the slogan “Fluctuat nec mergitur” to reinforce this emblem.
Representations of the Queen, holding her head in her hands, sang “Ah! Ça ira”, a revisited version of this revolutionary song by the metal band Gojira, in duet with the Franco-Swiss opera singer, creating a vivid tableau rich in history.

SPORTIVITY

For the “Liberté” painting, we designed and 3D-modeled BMX performance platforms.
Inspired by French gardens, these platforms were embellished with visuals that we designed and then printed in large format to cover the ramps, platforms and airbags.
The performers, dressed in the style of Louis XIV, evolved in this environment where some bushes were trimmed in the shape of Olympic rings.
