A highly immersive experience, Al-Wasl Opera in Dubai takes place on the world’s largest 360-degree projection screen, located at Al-Wasl Plaza.
Produced in collaboration with the Welsh National Opera, the show brings together more than 100 artists and musicians, as well as a production team of 70 professionals, to bring together the world’s best operatic talent to celebrate the Expo 2020 theme, “Connecting Minds, Creating Futures.” Composed by Mohamed Fairouz, co-written and written by Maha Gargash, directed by Sir David Pountney and Justin Brown, Al-Wasl translates to “the connection” in English, and is the former name of Dubai. An immersive experience with the largest 360 degree projection screen, entirely created by Studio BK.
